Romans 7 15-25; James 1 22-25 (NIV)

[15] I do not understand what I do. For what I want to do I do not do, but what I hate I do. [16] And if I do what I do not want to do, I agree that the law is good. [17] As it is, it is no longer I myself who do it, but it is sin living in me. [18] For I know that good itself does not dwell in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. [19] For I do not do the good I want to do, but the evil I do not want to do—this I keep on doing. [20] Now if I do what I do not want to do, it is no longer I who do it, but it is sin living in me that does it.

[21] So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. [22] For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; [23] but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. [24] What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? [25] Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!

[22] Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. [23] Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror [24] and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. [25] But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom, and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard, but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.

Verse Rehearse July 7th & 8th Matthew 7:7,8

July 7th & 8th (7:7 & 7:8) Matthew 7:7,8 Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened.

Verse Rehearse July 5th Matthew 7:5

3 “Why do you look at the speck
of sawdust in your brother’s eye
and pay no attention to the plank
in your own eye?

4 How can you say to your brother,
‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’
when all the time there is a plank
in your own eye?

(July 5th (7:5) Matthew 7:5)

5 You hypocrite, first take the plank
out of your own eye,
and then you will see clearly to remove
the speck from your brother’s eye.

This song was developed to coincide with running either a 6 minute mile or the start of a run while prayerfully putting on the full armor of God on the go! Some the of the transistions are rough and out all all PoetTree.com songs I would like to redo and produce well it would be the ARMOR song. In this remix the experimenting continues. Enjoy the work in progress. My prayer is that even in this rough draft form it may make your ipod and workout. -God Bless, Dave Davidson
